01 / ENTER THE ARENA

A Hunger Games Simulator you play yourself.

This Hunger Games Simulator puts you in control of one tribute against 23 AI rivals. Move, aim and decide when to fight. River Run is a short browser game, not an automatically generated text story.

There is no matchmaking queue or account requirement. A round lasts up to five minutes, and the clock waits at the ready screen. Start with an easy sword round, or choose your own appearance, district and starting weapon.

02 / HOW IT WORKS

How it works

Your first Hunger Games Simulator round is only a few choices away.

  1. 01

    Choose your tribute

Use quick play for an easy sword start, or customize your tribute. District changes the difficulty; appearance changes the look. Choose a sword or bow to set your opening approach. You can change your choices on your next visit.

  2. 02

    Enter the valley

Wait for the scene to load, read the controls and enter when ready. Look for supplies before committing to a chase. The camp, riverbank and ridge give you different reasons to move, but none is a permanent safe zone.

  3. 03

    Survive. Learn. Return.

Outlast the other tributes while the storm shrinks the arena. After the round, review your result, download a card or try again. In a daily challenge, keep the same starting conditions and test a different route or decision.

03 / THE TRIBUTES

Your tribute. Your starting point.

Build a Hunger Games Simulator tribute with a male or female body, four skin tones, three hair choices and six outfit colors. These are appearance choices, not separate classes or unlockable powers.

Your district sets the challenge

Easy · Districts 1, 2, 4

120 HP

Start with 120 health, bonus food and arrows, and less aggressive AI toward you. This is the gentlest place to learn timing and movement. Quick play uses District 1.

Normal · Districts 3, 5–10

100 HP

Start with 100 health and no district bonus supplies. Manage your own opening carefully. Daily challenges use District 3 with a fixed loadout, so each attempt begins on the same terms.

Hard · Districts 11, 12

85 HP

Start with 85 health and stronger AI aggression toward you. Choose this when you want less room for mistakes. Difficulty comes from the starting conditions, not from the body or outfit you select.

04 / KNOW YOUR GROUND

Choose your ground.

A shortcut is not always the safest way through.

01

The camp

The first supply stop can shape a Hunger Games Simulator round. Visit the camp when you need food or equipment. Before crossing open ground, spot nearby rivals and choose an escape route.

Your trade-off: useful supplies, but more exposure. Take what helps your next move; you do not need to defend the camp.

02

The riverbank

Scene concept of a turquoise river, shallow stepping stones and a path behind sandstone cover

Approach the water when hungry and interact to fish. You must stop long enough to finish; a hit interrupts the attempt. There is a cooldown between catches. Check for nearby opponents before casting.

Your trade-off: a source of food, but time spent standing still. Rocks and bends can help you leave a pursuit behind.

03

The ridge

For a cautious Hunger Games Simulator attempt, use hillside rocks to observe before committing. Look for a clear bow shot and a usable exit. Cover helps only while you can move away from it.

Your trade-off: better opportunities to position yourself, but supplies may be farther away. Leave before the storm closes your route.

05 / FIELD SUPPLIES

Know what you are picking up.

A Hunger Games Simulator loadout is simple enough to read at a glance. Food and arrows support your next encounter; weapons change how you approach it.

Sword
In-game model · studio render

Sword

A close-range weapon for a direct approach. Get within reach and face your opponent before attacking. A sword does not consume arrows, but staying close means you must read enemy swings and keep a retreat available.

Bow
In-game model · studio render

Bow

A ranged weapon that spends arrows. Find a clear shot and reposition when cover blocks your angle. Carrying a bow does not make every distant target a good fight: check your ammunition and the space behind you.

Food
In-game model · studio render

Food

A pickup that restores both hunger and health. It is consumed when collected, rather than saved for a later inventory action. Seek it before your condition becomes desperate; fighting over the last nearby supply is a risky plan.

Arrows
In-game model · studio render

Arrows

Ammunition for the bow. Pick up more when your route allows it, especially before committing to several ranged encounters. An arrow supply is useful only if you still have a safe position from which to use it.

06 / COMBAT INSTINCTS

Make the next move count.

01

Read the attack

New to this Hunger Games Simulator? Watch a rival begin an attack before committing your own. Facing and distance matter. Taking one clear opening is often safer than trading hits with several opponents at once.

02

Break the pursuit

Put a rock or another obstacle between you and an attacker, then keep moving. AI opponents briefly remember a lost target. Cover creates an opportunity to change direction; it does not make you instantly safe.

03

Keep something in reserve

Dodging spends stamina and offers only a brief window to avoid damage. Save it for an incoming attack or a better position. Moving normally and letting stamina recover are part of a good defense too.

07 / A ROUND IN THE VALLEY

The valley does not wait.

In this Hunger Games Simulator, a good plan changes with the round. A quiet opening can become a crowded supply contest. Check your hunger, health and escape route before taking another fight.

Watch the storm as well as your rivals. Outside the safe area, you take damage; at the end, the remaining space disappears. A position worth holding earlier may be the wrong place to stay now.

  1. Opening · Find your footing

Read the area before following the nearest opponent. Find food, choose your first route and remember where cover is. A useful opening leaves you with options, not just a target to chase.

  2. Supply signal · Make a choice

One supply drop is announced before it becomes available. Contest it, approach cautiously or leave it to others. The announcement is an opportunity to plan, not an instruction that every tribute must follow.

  3. Final storm · Keep moving

The arena leaves fewer places to hide as the round progresses. Recheck your exit before stopping to fish or lining up another shot. Staying alive matters more than holding your favorite piece of ground.

09 / DAILY CHALLENGE

Same valley. A fresh attempt.

The daily Hunger Games Simulator challenge uses a fixed map and starting loadout, reset at midnight UTC. Try again, beat your own placement, or invite a friend to the same challenge.

Open today’s challenge →

Bring a lesson into your next run.

Review a Hunger Games Simulator round through your placement, kills and survival time. Pick one decision to change next time. Ordinary rounds use a new map seed; daily retries keep the starting conditions. A challenge link recreates those conditions, not a recording of another player’s actions.

Before you enter

Is this Hunger Games Simulator multiplayer?

No. This is a single-player game with 23 AI opponents. Sharing a challenge gives a friend the same starting conditions, not a multiplayer match.

Is Hunger Games Simulator free to play?

No signup or payment is needed to play this preview. Character presets and the latest 100 completed rounds are saved in this browser, not synced across devices.

Can I share my result?

Download a result card or share a challenge link after a round. Results are player-reported, not verified leaderboard scores. Clearing browser data removes local saves.
